Finally took the plunge and got my Padi Open WaterDiver certification, an experience that I highly recommend. The crew is really friendly, helpful and patient, very communicative during the lessons and I felt safe the whole time. The equipment is in top condition and the whole experience is really fun. can't wait for my next certification.

We did two separate excursions with George. Our group had a variety of needs and George met and exceeded them all. We had an experienced diver, a few snorkelers and a few that needed additional assistance and George was knowledgeable and prepared for it all. The boat and equipment were well maintained, he took us to secluded and beautiful locations that fit all of our needs and always had our safety in mind. The second day with George took us to cities that were highly recommended by him and other we spoke to and definitely would not have been on any other tour website. He was funny, engaging and full of information. It is very evident that he not only loves his country but also loves his job. I’m already working on plans to return with my daughter and will absolutely be booking him again.

Great experience. Everything was done safely with our small girls. They had a blast. They took us out to a secluded cove that was protected by the waves and had a small beach. They even brought a SUP to play with. Then we went to the temple of Poseidon which had magnificent views. George and skipper George took very good care of us.

Nick was our guide we did a refresher course at a lake near the blue hole and then the dive at the blue hole. Nick was amazing! Super fun and informative making the experience spectacular such a great experience. Highly recommend!

I was able to snorkel with a few friends in areas with no one else around and experience the enchantment of the Aegean Sea. At the same time one of my friends scuba dived and other friends relaxed on our boat. It was perfect for each of us.
It’s a great gift to work with a family run company who cares deeply about honoring their word and representing their family, community and country well.

A great experience. This was a first dive after completing PADI Open Water Course 10 months earlier. Evan, the dive master, gave a very detailed brief of the dive beforehand and made sure I felt safe and comfortable. Evan has very professional and knowledgeable approach which I appreciated very much as I have been extreme sports instructor in my previous life and can spot a qualified pro when I see one. The scuba equipment was in very good shape and good quality. Evan took pictures and videos through-out the dive and sent them to me few days after the dive.
Evan also gave some tips how to spend some time in Athens, and we had a very interesting conversation of current affairs in our respective countries as well. Evan also offered to drop me off to the metro station so I could make my way back to Athens center. Simply a great experience!

The private cruise was an amazing experience.
In the e-mail exchange before the event George was very helpful and gave me great tips and suggestions.
On the day of the cruise, everything ran perfectly. The cruise was well-structured and engaging. George and his skipper took us to different interesting places, were we could swim and snorkel. Throughout the event, the crew was highly customer-oriented. They always made it clear that us having a great experience was their highest priority because they always asked our input for what we want and were available to answer questions and provide assistance. George and his skipper were very professional, easygoing and likable.
If you want to take a private cruise that is highly customized to your wishes and liking I would highly recommend the provider “Athens by boat”.

I cannot say enough good things about George and Evan. From the ease of scheduling the dive with George to the fresh pastries Evan bought for us when he picked us up a tour hotel in the morning. Everything was perfect! George and Evan are both very knowledgeable, professional and kind. It was my first dive in 5 years. I was with my two sons, and it was their first dive since completing their Padi Certifications. The dive was both adventurous and fun. It was our first time in Athens and if/when we go back, we will be definitely using Extreme Divers again.

I highly recommend Extreme Divers to any scuba divers heading to Athens. The name turned me off initially as I am not extreme in any way and am a beginner diver but they were so quickly responsive to my emails that I decided to book the dives. Our instructor was very knowledgeable and very in tune with the experience level of each diver on our boat and was able to somewhat personalize the dive for each experience level which was awesome. George (one of the owners) is an absolute gentleman and very knowledgeable of Greek history which made the experience so much better for us history nerds. They make the logistics of diving so easy from pickup to equipment handling to drop off at the end of the day. No stress at all. I will definitely be back!

I did my open water diver certification here. My instructor Amalia was great - a very good teacher and very patient. Evan and George were also lovely!! Couldn’t recommend them more 🙂

George was such an amazing tour guide that we booked 3 days of activities with him: 1. Poseidon’s temple snorkel, 2. Athens city tour and 3. Toured cities and archaeological sites outside of Athens. He’s friendly and does a great job of reading the group to decide what to do next. He was raised in Athens so he has a deep knowledge of the area, history and great restaurant recommendations. We’d use his tour group again!

We did 3 different excursions, George was an awesome tour guide. Very knowledgeable and delight to be with, very patient with us. LOL Had a great time and saw so much in the short time we were there. Would recommend Extreme Divers if your looking to do anything in and around Athens, Greece

Really nice day out. Very friendly and told us about the history of the area. Patient, as well as it was our first time snorkling. It was a lovely location we went to . It's worth adding the Posiedon trip on the day as well if you are intetersed in Greek history and the Gods.

Amazing diving school! I achieved my OWD qualification in three days. Amalia is a great instructor and fun diving buddy. George and Evan were always kind and hospitable. I can definitely recommend this.

Evan was a very friendly instructor who made our first diving experience unique and unforgettable. He showed us the beauty of the life underwater and had a very authentic approach in making it a real fun excursion. Most importantly, he was very calm in the water and made sure we were doing okay at all times, which made our first-time experience safe and relaxed. We really appreciate how the trip felt neither rushed nor routine, as Evan seemed to have enough time to make sure we had a good time. His banoffee caramel ice cream recommendation to finish our excursion was the cherry on top of a wonderful morning by the sea 🙂

We decided on rather short notice to find a snorkeling experience for our anniversary while in Athens. The hotel set everything up for us which was nice. Evan met us at the hotel and showed us several beautiful spots down the coast. We loved snorkeling with him and discovering the beautiful waters and coastline. Next to the snorkeling we had some delicious treats and Evan gave us some nice tips for the remainder of our stay.
I would recommend this to everyone and would definitely book another day of snorkeling fun!

These guys were great. They spoke very good English and were really informative, helpful and reassuring. I felt totally safe at all times. The equipment was top notch. The boat trips out and back were really good fun - smooth and quick. If you fancy a dive in Athens I wholeheartedly recommend these guys.

I had the chance to dive with extreme divers on more than one occasion also completing my dry suit diver course with them.
They not only have a fantastic team of people, but a great boat set up and good quality dive rental gear.
There is no doubt that extreme is the best dive shop in Athens!! Hopefully I’ll be back in a month or so to dive with them again!

My family of 4 (two teenagers) spent the day snorkeling with George and his crew on our way to the Sounio Cape. George was AMAZING and very knowledgeable. He and his crew are completely trustworthy. We were able to tailor our trip to meet our needs and requests. At the end of the day, George dropped us off at a recommended restaurant with the best views of Athens, and the food did not disappoint. By the end of the day, we had made a new friend, and we will definitely book this trip again with George and his family run business when we return to Athens. I highly recommend this tour! We had a great time diving with Evan. It has been a while since we last dove and he was very patient while we got reacquainted with diving. The blue hole was amazing and visibility was great! We would definitely use Extreme Divers again if we are in Athens.

I had a couple days to kill in Athens so I emailed Extreme Divers very last minute to see if they could get me in on a dive. Sure, enough they emailed me right away to let me know I could head out to experience the famous “Blue Hole”, which is a well-like structure that descends 30 Meters down to the sea floor (though we only went down 20). The hole was an incredible sight and so fun to explore, would be very easy for beginner dives as it is spacious and surprisingly well lit inside. The dive also included a lovely swim along the reef where we saw an octopus, fish, worms, and many sea urchins. I get cold very easily but the water temperature wasn’t bad at all, I felt comfortable in just the provided shorty wetsuit. It was a spectacular dive!

Evan picked me up at my hotel in the morning (for an extra fee) in a vehicle clearly marked with Extreme Divers on the side, and he was so professional and informative all day. He even drove us around to see some of the cool sights near where we were diving!

The equipment was all in excellent condition and I felt very comfortable diving with these outfitters, definitely recommend to newbies and veteran divers alike!

Spent an amazing half-day diving with Evan and my new dive buddy, Polly. Dived a blue hole and lovely wall (octopus, sea urchins, many fishes)...visibility was most excellent! Learned much about Greece along the way, and as is true of the best Dive Masters, Evan taught me practices to make diving safer, and more enjoyable!!! Thanks again for an extraordinary adventure, Evan & Polly!!!

I can’t say enough about what an enjoyable day we had thanks to George, one of the owners, who was our escort for the day. He went over and above in every way possible. Multiple great spots to snorkel, an array of delicious snacks and drinks we couldn’t possibly finish and friendly education about Greece while we were onboard. He gave us a choice of two ways to visit Poseidon’s Temple which was a great help on a very hot day
